About Rhiyanna

Since then, she has specialized in progressive performance therapy and pain re-education, andtrained across a wide range of modalities including somatic movement, breathwork andpranayama, yin and meditation, accessible yoga, athletic prehab, and resistance training.

She is currently completing her Somatic Movement Educator certification while exploringhow functional medicine can enhance physical activity, recovery, and overall public health.

As part of Dr. Nisreen’s, Rhiyanna is dedicated to providing the high level of integrative carepatients expect—supporting each individual’s autonomy and honoring their unique healingprocess.

Having personally experienced periods of major depression and physical injury, and havingsupported others through their own healing, she approaches the bodymind with a deeply holisticand compassionate lens.

Her work is fueled by a lifelong curiosity and appreciation for the many ways humans process,adapt, and integrate their experiences. Under Dr. Nisreen’s guidance, she helps patients reconnectwith their innate ability to grow, and thrive through life’s challenges.

About Victoria

Victoria was born and raised in San Diego, where her passion for neuroscience was inspired bypersonal experiences with loved ones affected by Alzheimer’s, ALS, MS, and Parkinson’sdisease.

She earned her B.S. in Neurobiology from UC San Diego (UCSD) and is currently pursuinga Master’s degree while studying traumatic brain injury (TBI) at the Neural Engineering andTranslation Lab at the La Jolla Veterans Hospital.

Victoria has worked with the UCSD Recreation Department as an outdoor guide and rental shopattendant, helping students connect with nature and movement to promote overall health andwellness. She also has clinical experience volunteering in the VA Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Unit,where she supports veterans through recreational therapy activities designed to enhance physicaland emotional well-being.

Her diverse experiences in research, clinical care, and community engagement have shaped herdedication to serving others through holistic, neuroscience-based medicine. As part of Dr.Nisreen’s team, Victoria brings compassion, curiosity, and a deep commitment to advancingbrain health and patient-centered care.

About Maya

Maya is a high school intern at FGTNC, where she helps prepare patient therapies, manage clinicoperations, and observe functional neurology assessments alongside Dr. Nisreen. Her passion forbrain health stems from personal experience with hydrocephalus and extensive leadership withinthe Hydrocephalus Association, where she facilitates national teen support groups and serves onthe Support and Education Advisory Board. Maya has contributed to research advancing theunderstanding of hydrocephalus, publishing on smart shunt technology, analyzing long-termoutcomes of funded studies, and participating in a summer neuroscience research program at theUniversity of California, San Diego. Through her work at FGTCNC, she is learning howintegrative care supports brain healing and long-term neurological health.
